Software Engineers (Java, J2EE) - 2
Magnus is looking for software engineers to work on an exciting project. Must have a strong desire and competency to learn new technologies.
Key Competencies
- Core Java
- J2EE (JSP, Servlets)
- Struts Framework
- MVC Design Pattern
- mySql
- Junit
- Linux (Ubuntu, Redhat)
Familiarity with developing enterprise solutions with technologies like app servers (JBoss etc), frameworks (Spring, Hibernate) is a plus.
If you do not have much experience but have some level of familiarity or experimented with the above mentioned technologies, you can still apply and this will be an exciting opportunity to become an expert.
Project Support Associates - 3
Magnus is looking for Project Support Associates to install, deploy, train and provide support for various software systems developed internally and externally.
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of Windows Operating system
- Some level of familiarity with Database systems (MSSQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of Financial processes (e.g accounting etc)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Main Responsibilites
- To install software systems at various client sites in Nepal
- To train users on usage of the systems
- To provide 1st level support for issues
- To capture requirements from the field
Stations
- Dhangadi Based
- Ithari Based
Acedemic Qualification
- BBA or similar degree preferred but not required
Others
- Ability to type in Nepali is an advantage.
- This position requires about 30%-40% travel
